General ledger & sub-ledger conversions come about as a result of mergers, acquisitions and divestments as well as ERP upgrades or complete software changes. Data must be converted from one system to another and then tested for integrity. Depending on the individual GL/sub-ledger and company, the data being converted may be quite voluminous.
