E. AUDIT SUPPORT & RECONCILIATION
An unavoidable business task for many of my client’s is the quarterly or annual external or internal audit. This necessary function is mandated by the SEC for publicly held companies and by bank covenants or other agreements for privately held companies. Larger clients may even have their own internal audit staff to help maintain compliance and financial statement accuracy. The audit function can be time consuming and many of my clients have requested my help in pre-audit preparation and post audit clean-up of certain accounts. Account reconciliation and balance sheet clean-up projects have been a regular request of my clients.
